MATCHWEEK ELEVEN - REVIEW

The second matchweek after returning from the Christmas break was somewhat of a wash out, with two games being postponed due to waterlogged pitches.

In the singular fixture that went ahead, it seemed like Groundhog Day as Sutton Coldfield Town faced Chesham United for second time in a week. This time Sutton were the hosts and they definitely made their home advantage count, beating Chesham 3-0. The goals were shared around, with Lewis Brady, Etakah Bessem and Hakeem Akinwale all getting on the score sheet. This win cements Sutton Coldfield Town’s position at the top of the table and increases the gap on Rushall Olympic in second place to five points.

Congratulations to Enes Muca who was named 'Player of the Week!' for #MacthweekEleven for his performance against Chesham United. Also, well done to Ryan Scrivens (Chesham United), Juvani Mupene (Sutton Coldfield Town), Jake Davies (Chesham United), Tomas Kidane (Sutton Coldfield Town) and Alex Dalby (Chesham United) who were also nominated.
