MATCHWEEK THIRTEEN - REVIEW

Updated: Feb 10

In #MatchweekThirteen of the SLFA season, just one game was scheduled as Swindon Supermarine hosted Chesham United.

In their first game of 2020, Swindon Supermarine started the year how they mean to go on and beat Chesham Un iced 2-0. A brilliant strike in the first half by Andy Smith got Swindon under way and Kieran Curtis’s goal late on secured the points for Swindon. The win moves the Spitfires into fourth spot above Yate Town and four points behind Kidlington in third.

Congratulations to Swindon Supermarine student Jay Haydon who’s performance in #MatchweekThirteen earned him the title of ‘Player of the Week!’. Also, well done to Matthew Bibby (Swindon Supermarine), Cameron Isaac (Swindon Supermarine), Ryan Scrivens (Chesham United), Jake Davies (Chesham United) and Matt Clifford (Chesham United) who were also nominated.
